How to calculate total amp draw!

We are often asked what battery do you I need to run all of my electronics

We have a nice guide on our main page showing operating times of batteries with most graphs on the market today including how much power they draw. We have included it below on this page for reference. The first thing you need to do, is add up the power draw from all of your graphs.

EX Graph 1 2a + Graph 2 4a + Graph 3 1.5a= Total 7.5a draw.

Then take that number and calculate how long you want to go. For example, if you want to go 10 hours then take 10hrsx7.5a= 75Ah battery. This means the minimum to go 10 hours of continuous use would be a 75AH or larger battery. Always go to the next size up as we always recommend not trying to drain a battery 100% of their capacity per charge for longevity of that product.
